These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“the Client”) and Express Printing SI (“we”, “our”, or “us”), a printing services company registered and operating in Singapore. By placing an order or using our website at https://expressprintingsi.com, you accept and agree to these Terms in full.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an order, signing a quotation, or making a payment to Express Printing SI, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you are placing an order on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; the revised version will take effect upon publication on this page with an updated date.

2. Orders & Quotations

All quotations issued by Express Printing SI are valid for 14 calendar days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. A quotation becomes a confirmed order once the Client has:

  • Provided written approval of the quotation (email confirmation is sufficient).
  • Submitted press-ready artwork files that pass our preflight checks.
  • Made the required payment or deposit as specified on the quotation.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the final job specifications differ from those originally quoted, for example, a change in quantity, paper stock, or finishing requirements. Any price adjustment will be communicated and approved by the Client before production proceeds.

3. Artwork Requirements

The Client is responsible for supplying print-ready artwork. Files must meet the following specifications:

  • Format: PDF/X-1a, PDF/X-4, Adobe Illustrator (.ai), or InDesign packaged files.
  • Resolution: minimum 300 dpi at the final output size.
  • Colour mode: CMYK for process-colour work; Pantone references for spot colours.
  • Bleed: minimum 3 mm on all edges.
  • Fonts: embedded within the PDF or converted to outlines.

If artwork does not meet these requirements, our prepress team will notify the Client. Any delays caused by artwork corrections are not the responsibility of Express Printing SI and may affect the quoted delivery date. We do not accept liability for errors in artwork that has been approved by the Client, including typographical mistakes, incorrect images, or colour discrepancies resulting from non-CMYK file preparation.

4. Payment

All prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD). The prevailing Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be applied to all taxable supplies and is itemised separately on every invoice. Payment terms are as follows:

  • New clients: full payment is required before production commences.
  • Established accounts: net-30 payment terms may be extended at our discretion after a credit review.
  • Large orders (above S$5,000): a 50% deposit is required upon order confirmation, with the balance due before delivery.

We accept bank transfer, cheque, and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard). Late payments are subject to a finance charge of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. We reserve the right to withhold delivery of completed goods until all outstanding invoices are settled.

5. Delivery

Estimated delivery dates are provided at the time of order confirmation and are calculated from the date of artwork approval and payment receipt. Standard delivery across Singapore is complimentary for orders totalling S$300 or above; a flat delivery fee applies for smaller orders. While we make every effort to meet quoted timelines, delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed. Express Printing SI shall not be liable for any losses arising from delivery delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to courier disruptions, adverse weather, or public-holiday congestion. Risk of loss transfers to the Client upon delivery to the specified address.

6. Cancellations

The Client may cancel a confirmed order subject to the following conditions:

  • Before production begins: a full refund is issued, minus any applicable prepress or proofing costs already incurred.
  • After production has started: the Client is liable for all costs incurred up to the point of cancellation, including materials, press time, and finishing work completed.
  • Custom or bespoke orders: orders involving specially sourced materials or non-standard specifications are non-cancellable once production materials have been ordered.

7. Returns & Reprints

If the finished product contains a defect attributable to our production process, such as misalignment, colour deviation from the approved proof, ink smearing, or binding failure, Express Printing SI will reprint the affected portion or the entire job at no additional cost. The Client must notify us of any defect within 7 business days of receiving the delivery by contacting [email protected] or calling +65 9027 2850. Claims made after this period may not be accepted. We do not accept returns or issue reprints for errors that existed in the Client-approved artwork, variations within the industry-standard tolerance for colour matching (±5% Delta-E), or minor quantity variances of up to ±10% on offset print runs, which is standard trade practice.

8. Intellectual Property

The Client retains full ownership of all artwork, logos, text, and design elements supplied for printing. By submitting artwork, the Client warrants that they hold the necessary rights, licences, or permissions for all content and that the material does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. Express Printing SI shall not be held responsible for any claims arising from the reproduction of Client-supplied content. Any design work created by our in-house team on behalf of the Client becomes the Client's property upon full payment of the associated design fees.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, the total liability of Express Printing SI for any claim arising out of or relating to an order shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for that specific order. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Confidentiality

We treat all Client artwork, documents, and business information as confidential. Files submitted for printing are stored on secured servers with access restricted to authorised production staff. We will not share, reproduce, or distribute Client materials for any purpose other than fulfilling the agreed order, unless required by law. Upon request, we will permanently delete archived files ahead of the standard 24-month retention period.

11. Force Majeure

Express Printing SI shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, fire, flood, pandemic, government restrictions, supply-chain disruptions, equipment breakdowns of an exceptional nature, and interruptions to power or telecommunications infrastructure. In the event of a force majeure occurrence, we will notify the Client as soon as practicable and use reasonable efforts to resume normal operations.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or any order placed with Express Printing SI shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. Both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation before resorting to formal legal proceedings.
